LiGa™ by Sanem Ozdural. Science fact or fiction? Prediction or warning?

Imagine a world where a select few can manipulate their own cellular degeneration to become effectively immortal. Where membership of this elite was gained through a game. Imagine the impact on society, and on those who lose. Sanem Ozdural has imagined such a world. Her debut novel, LiGa™, tells the story and examines the players’ motivation and the implications. Join her for a reading and a discussion ranging from writing speculative fiction to the ramifications of her imagined world.

Elsewhen Press at Nine Worlds Geekfest 2017 @ Novotel London West
Aug 4 – Sunday all-day

Elsewhen PressWe will be back at Nine Worlds Geekfest again this year (4-6th August). The vendors will be inside the convention, not in a separate Expo like last year, so we should be easy to find. Come and say hello, have a browse, buy some books. We will have some new books that will be on sale for the first time at Nine Worlds, and a couple that we will be launching there (on Saturday); we expect to be joined by some of our authors too – more details closer to the day. Hope to see you there too.

Oh, and did we mention that we’re Gold Sponsor for Nine Worlds this year?

John will be reading from his retrospective anthology of short stories Don’t Look Back.

Then Peter R. Ellis (whose latest book Cold Fire, a September Weekes novel, will be out in eBook on 4th August) will interview them both. There should be time for a few questions from the audience too! There will be refreshments available of course, and copies of the books to buy – they’ll even sign them if you like ;-)

It’s in the online programme (as Elsewhen Press presents) so be sure to add it into your personal Grenadine schedule. We’re looking forward to seeing you there.
