Oh, ferk it! Book four of the Alternate Reality News Service series, The Street Finds its own Uses for Mutant Technologies is now complete. It is comprised of 80 original pieces of writing, 65,000 glorious bastard words!

Of course, when I say "finished," I mean that now that the basic articles are written, they need another polishing go though. Then, they need to be formatted for print and ebook. And, while I'm doing this, I have to finalize the cover design with Travis, the artist I work with.

Oh, and while I'm on the subject, I still have to finish next week's Web site update. And, I should really complete Detention Diary, a novella I put aside in order to finish this book. And, over the next two or three months I will have to write the 25 articles that will complete the fifth book in the series (The Alternate Reality News Service's Guide to Love, Sex and Robots, due out next July). Then, I can finish two additional books of material exclusively for my Web site, and one more book of Delicate Negotiations cartoons. Oh, and some time in there I will be going to England for the launch of my novel, I hope to spend some time promoting the shit out of it and I may even work on another one. A writer's life is never idle.

Thank goodness.
