My con friend Timothy Carter's first novel is going out of print, so I insisted that he sell me a copy at the recent SFContario. After the transaction, Tim posted on his Facebook page that I had bought the book. I replied that it was my pleasure (which it was) and that I am looking forward to reading the book (which I am - I have very much enjoyed other books of his that I have read).

A friend of Tim's responded to my response by writing: "I'm reading Ira's 'Luna for the Lunies' right now actually. Funny stuff!"

I have, of course, solicited reviews of my books, and have received my share of praise. It's the unexpected (and unsolicited) praise, though, that is the most delightful. :-)
